About Me

Hello, my name is Rhys Vanschaik. I come from Melbourne, Australia and I am interested in all things Digital Media! My main specialization is 3D Modeling and Rendering, but don’t let that deceive you, as I am also quite excellent at working with more Graphic Design and 2D Animation work as well!
Some of the programs that I am proficient with are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Substance (suite), Maya, Blender, Unity, and Unreal Engine.
I have always been interested in Digital Art. First it was just Adobe Illustrator & Graphic design in Highschool, but this quickly grew to animation which then quickly grew to 3D artforms such as modeling and 3D animation, and my experimentation and tinkering will likely continue further into other mediums and programs.
I have recently Graduated from RMIT university studying the Bachelor of Design: Digital Media, but I am always keen on learning more and expanding my skillset. I have been working hard on many personal projects over my varied range of fields of interest.
One of my more notable positions so far was an internship position I held at the Victoria Barracks where I worked with government / army associated designers & CAD Engineers in conceptualizing and developing a private VR program for vehicle visualization and training.”
